This is what i do. I go in maybe 2 times a year when its basically just a "party" at the office. I love an hour away though so I usually show up around noon and leave at 3.

It is nice to see some of the people I don't talk to on any other day of the year. Plus they have cats there.

I've only known them a couple years, but I think he wasn't always like this. From what I hear he was a pretty cool guy back in the day, weird, but cool. Nowadays he watches YouTube shorts all day and complains about how everyone's being brainwashed on tick tok. So I think he thinks he's a free thinker while actively being brainwashed by the same thing he thinks he's avoiding.

At the same time for someone to be so heavy into so many awful opinions they had to have always been there. Maybe he just hid them before but feels like he can openly talk about stuff because of the state of the current world.

They do.... And I really don't like to talk bad about children because it almost always comes down to the parenting, but they were some of the most miserable, rude children I've ever encountered. They were awful to my toddler in so many ways.

To be fair they're both girls and they had to hear their dad go on a 20 minute rant about how all women should quit the workforce and stay at home continuously popping out as many babies as they can because they're less capable than men but more nurturing. That started from me saying "a single income household should become achievable again".

For a little more context that no one asked for but I think adds to it: his wife is a full on doctor, hard working, comes home and takes care of the kids and the house, and is an actual person.

I had a coworker over the other day because my wife loves his wife.

At one point he's telling me that they're coming out with AI sex robots that can do EVERYTHING and he's going into detail like he read the spec sheet and got excited. He's telling us how it will be the end of humanity because all men are going to divorce their wives, ditch their girlfriends and stop dating because they're just going to be fucking robots.

I said I don't see that happening on a large scale. I'm sure some guys will, but I doubt anyone who's going to give up women to fuck robots would have been procreating anyway and we probably wouldn't lose out on much in the gene pool. His wife started cracking up and agreeing with me, calling these guys freaks, and my coworker got real quiet and sulked into his chair.

So I know at least 1 person who would love to go to a robot strip club.

My wife's distant cousin or something who we see at some holidays bought a cybertruck a few years ago and actually had a party for when he brought it home. At said party he was planning on taking people on rides but something happened and it wouldn't start. So he drove it home, parked it in his garage, tried to suck his own dick and instead got a very expensive paper weight. Last I heard it was still just sitting there because it would cost too much to fix and he was fighting with the company, but still singing praises.

For me it's the field out behind my barn looking into the woods, I built a nice bench out of left of 2x6. There's an insane amount of bird back there, all different kinds. I'll occasionally see a dead animal along the treeline and know it won't be long until the vultures come and carry it off, it's gruesome but very cool to see nature just doing it's thing.

I'm so glad I paid for this with my taxes. I was worried my money might go to something silly like feeding children.

I don't drink or smoke anymore, but I'll probably pick up a fancy cigar and a case of seltzers.

I'm picking up some free furniture from one of my inlaws rich friends tomorrow. She's giving away thousands of dollars of free stuff, some antique/vintage. I'm stoked, I love free stuff, especially from rich people who think they can't sell it because there's a ding in the wood or a tear that can be sewn.
