Is vinyl record piracy a thing?

A friend in college bought a vinyl lathe. It is difficult and you will get poor results without precise instruments.

I wouldn’t take her very seriously on this topic then, use your ethical qualms for more serious matters. I’m sure thoughtful people helped create the game and were grateful to be paid to do something they enjoy, despite the inherent ick of having to do it on behalf of a company. If I made a game for a company I would definitely be happy people enjoyed my details regardless of whether it was tied to my pay somehow.

Is she an indie board game enthusiast who would prefer you to play less corporate boardgames that were created as passion projects?

I think you should cling to whatever happiness your board game brings you.

The Super-Elite Is Tightening Its Grip on Combat Sports

UFC was never a proper tournament (fighters are chosen by admin not by a regimented competition scheme) but now that it lives under the WWE umbrella everyone should receive it as a spectacle and not a sport anyway.

I agree with your assessment. You’re creating healthy boundaries around your work. You’re taking your breaks legally. You’re doing your job. A job it sounds like you took specifically because you didn’t enjoy the other roles. Those other roles probably do need to be reformed. The more people that put up healthy work boundaries, the more likely policies will be adjusted to actually accommodate for (usually legally mandated!) break and lunch periods. If everyone skips lunch that becomes defacto policy and ruins it for everyone (including the patients getting worse care because their team isn’t in top form).
