It used to freeze up a lot; and, then, you lost all tabs, if it did. That's why I'd stopped using it and switched to Chrome, back in the day.

With all the crap Google's doing, I tried Firefox out again something like 5 or 7 years ago and it's now better than what Chrome offers (for me, of course; I'd've probably still switched, anyway, just to deGoogle my life further).

I do find it starts to massively lag when I get to a certain number of tabs/windows; but Chrome doesn't seem to ever shut off my CPU fans under the same level of load so not like it gets a leg up.

I dunno; I'm more inclined to agree with your original assessment. I feel like my horniness is pretty par for the course for most men and I've never had that experience.

If anything, the degree of horniness most men experience I've found similar amongst women; most of my friends throughout my life have always been women and I've always known someone who talks frequently and candidly about sex.

I'd be much more inclined to think that men (on average) just aren't as good at regulating and processing these emotions, for the same socialization reasons that a variety of other emotions aren't processed well generally amongst men (including this weird…dirth of talking about any experience in terms of your emotions from authority figures throughout childhood). There was also always this sort of tacit approval of any sexuality-related interest I found, perhaps on the basis of "Of course you'd express interest in that; that's how men move through the world", that I always despised and I don't think encourages recognizing the emotion of desire, processing it, and then being able to objectively think about it and conform it to secondary desires (such as, "This person is my friend and I'd like them to not be uncomfortable and still feel safe around me and feel like their boundaries are respected"); it sort of encourages an instinct to just act on something when you feel it.

I dunno; I've been plenty horny, throughout my life. Probably wouldn't've turned down the offer of sex if it'd come up, prior to me getting married. I still can't relate to figuring out how to move every social interaction towards sex. I've gone bra shopping with my friends and been told about all kinds of sexual exploits they've had and none of it's lead to me propositioning them or figuring out how I could get them to proposition me.

The fact they've gotten up to 5 movies in this series, all of which received full and theatrical releases, still feels absolutely surreal. Like something from a satire on corporate reliance on already existing IP.

There is but there are some caveats which may make it unsuitable, for you. MNT Research sells a few different pieces of hardware which are entirely open hardware with the aim to be entirely repairable and modifiable, even more so than Framework (from what I hear). They publish the full spec.s of every component the machines are built with and you can even buy printed copies of the manual which lays out the spec.s of all those components.

One of the caveats is that they use ARM; on the one hand, that means no need for fans as there really isn't any kind of heat build-up but, of course, not everything is available to be built for ARM (you might know this already and I apologize if anything I mention isn't needed).

The other caveat is that the laptops are a tad chunky (mostly to make rooting around in the innards to swap parts and fix things easier); some people don't mind that but I figure I ought to make note.

I don't own anything by them so you may want to read up on some reviews or lurk forums, first, but it definitely is as committed to right-to-repair and interchangeability/upgradability of components and also deeply committed to open-source.
