Ask Politics

Hello, and welcome to a new community specifically designed around questions and answers of a political nature!

My aim for this community is that it inspire more productive discussion - and less vitriol - than political news communities tend to produce. And for that reason, it's not a political news community!

That's right, this is not the community to submit the latest articles/screeds/Xitter posts on. It's for asking actual questions, and (hopefully) getting more thoughtful responses.

Full disclosure: I am a flaming liberal. There's no point in trying to hide that fact, nor is it something I feel the slightest shame about. That said, my goals with this community aren't particularly partisan. I want it to be informative, and provide factually accurate responses to political questions.

If that's something you're interested in, you're welcome here regardless of your personal partisanship!
