"Hide post" -function requires page refresh

Whenever I click "hide post", I need to refresh the page on my firefox browser for that post to actually disappear. Is this expected behaviour?
I can confirm this behaviour. But yes, it would be better if it automatically disappeared after hiding.
Maybe there are alternative frontends that do this?

You mean on sopuli's default web UI? This might be a lemmy-ui specific issue. If you'd like to address this I suggest https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues
