Hard to believe you even needed to debate posting it - if you want "intersecting lines in architecture" photos, how could you not want this? I also like the couple outside the store, not highlighted but just giving a human touch. And the bench just gives a sense of "this is real, not an CAD drawing", so it doesn't fret me.

Thank you for the laugh!

Yes, it's a lovely theory, and it's wildly unproductive for bees to sting unless they really really need to, so probably true, but when faced with that lot ... twitch

Did you angst for ages while working out how to crop the photo? I'm sure your original will have had all the sand/sea boundary (now cropped on the middle of the right side), but then you'd want that boundary hitting the bottom left corner, the spit of land ending broadly central, and the house having a decent size in proportion to the whole and around that angle :) Or perhaps angsting over the framing with the camera.

The photo is perhaps darker than ideal, though I can see the sky is solid cloud, so that might be "right". Getting a bit more "texture" in the clouds might help.

Still, a good solid record of a good sight.

I do feel the namer of the genus was being (accidentally) cruel - it is the Latin for thrush, I read, with tord coming from Middle English.

Well, thank you - interesting context.

Interesting perspective and going B&W works here - is it from a drone or a cliff?

Nope, nothing seen here :)

As it stands, you've let the road and track off rather dominate the photograph, and, other than the tiny figure way down the road, they don't add anything. That strikes me as a shame as you've caught the clouds well, with a lot of variation of tone in them.
