It's not fake as in at domestic sports matches they trash the place. As a culture they take collective responsibility to keep public spaces clean.

However, it is true that "keeping up external appreances" is quite ingrained in Japanese culture, which is where the disconnect with keeping the home clean vs. outside can come from.

The English translation is kinda mediocre imo. The word "unpaid" doesn't come in expressly or implied.

The level of time spent on housework by Japanese men is extremely low, even from an international view. First, we'd like them to share in the care work at home.

Thoughtfulness begins at home.

Personally, I see it as a side effect of the workaholic culture, being unable to divide housework fairly when one or both partners are overworked is bad for both.

LOL, this is an amazing spit in the face of Trump's sad little birthday party cage match and lineup of conservative musician nobodies.

Not to mention that he wasn't able to force his name onto the Kennedy Center while the Obama Center is opening.

Back to illegal war crimes not authorized by Congress.

Are you referring to Peentucky or Penissee?

Maybe Zuck should pay his employees more for the extra work put on them from the layoff, to lift their spirits.

Great! Deal with Iran, peace in the Middle East, woohoo... now back to investigating and releasing more of the Epstein Files?

Title line makes it sound like Europe was returning to an antiquated partnership with Sub-Saharan nations.

A "Pint" of beer served commercially in Canada must be 20 imperial (UK) ounces (aka ~568 mL), with a 2.5% margin of error permitted within the law, unlike a US pint (16 US fl oz ~473mL).

Just for fun, "Une pinte" of alcohol in French served commercially is "a quart" of alcohol in English which is double that value.

This was on the better end of outcomes after a certain point (as long as Israel can stop running interference)...

Trump wasn't going to get to where the Obama deal was, so I knew he'd have to give concessions but claiming whatever he does as a win. Even if Iran were to annex part of Florida as part of the deal, he would say it's a win. Lying is easy as breathing for Trump, but the hardest thing is ever admitting wrongdoing.
