Is it worth living in an RV to be anonymous?

1d 22m ago in privacy@lemmy.ml

Reminds me of Christopher Knight. He straight up lived in the woods. No job nothing for decades. Only got caught because he needed to steal rations from local cabins.

I haven't watched it in forever, but it does feel like something lost.

NHL is also basically unwatchable now though with the ads on the boards and everywhere. I'll go to a game in person where I can see the game IRL, but as for watching it on TV, that is done for me.

Convienent that his dad had just died then and he was burned out from playing into June every year.

Some developers are idiots and think that the solution is so obvious when it is really not, or that the average gamer will have the time and patience to sus out their complicated design.

I used to feel shamed looking it up, but now I understand it is bad development and design if they created such a poor level that I have to look up the solution to finish it.

Maybe St. Louis again, but otherwise you are talking overseas, and there is no way that works.

They should just work on making like a Europe league and then the winner of that faces the winner of the NFL or something.

What about just a flip phone. Then they can take the battery out when they don't need it.

Yeah, I am not buying one of these for my kids. Some parents are complete control freaks. I don't want my kids to always think I am watching them.

This Parking Spot Is Free. Should It Be?

3d 21h ago in fuckcars from www.nytimes.com

This is the thing about driving. People complain about high gas prices, the price of new cars, and having to pay to park in places like downtown, but I think it is a positive thing if cars keep getting more expensive to own and operate.

These car companies are so greedy that they won't care if they pass the threshold of peoples ability to pay. If the majority of people can't afford a car then that will force a change to our car centric lives greater then any social movement could.

I already see so many people biking and taking escooters. Feels like trains are getting busier too. Just a few years ago it seemed like people could not imagine not driving everywhere, but now affordability is really starting to change that thinking.
